The Borneo Bateater reticulated python–what a cool name–has bright orange eyes and olive and black markings that some would say is camouflage. The name comes from the Indonesian jungle, and this breed of reticulated python is a hybrid of both Burmese and reticulated pythons. It’s a difficult cross to produce, hence the hefty price tag. In comparison to other snakes, it’s rare to find the Borneo Bateater in the wild.
